Winston Salem Heart and Stroke Walk

 In Newsletter

Please join Twin City Sports in supporting the American Heart Association by participating in the Winston Salem Heart and Stroke Walk.

WHY?

Cardiovascular disease and stroke are the number 1 and number 5 killers of all Americans. Today, 1 in 3 Americans are affected by cardiovascular disease, and nearly ½ of all Americans have high blood pressure. Childhood obesity continues to rise, and childhood cardiovascular health is declining.

The American Heart Association is making an impact in our community by advocating for laws requiring physical education and healthy school lunches, performing blood pressure screenings and providing education and awareness surrounding heart disease and stroke, and helps train youth and adults on how to save lives with CPR. You can help make a difference in the health of our community.

HERE’S HOW:

Join the Heart and Stroke Walk as a team leader or as a walker.

Register here: http://www.winstonsalemheartwalk.org/twincityyouthsports then start fundraising by inviting your co-workers, family, and friends to participate.
